Garden - 13 September 2022
At the start of Term 3 the children planted tomatoes, snow peas, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, beetroot, spinach, rocket, and celery to name just some of the vegetable, as well as a range of herbs (including about 5 different types of mint) for the herb spiral, finally back in action after years of being climbed on! We have two lemon trees, a lime tree and a curry leaf tree, all with strawberries planted under them. The school is enjoying the ‘fruits of their labour’ with a wonderful bumper and healthy crop of rocket, celery and broccoli.
