Chrysalis Montessori Before and After School Care (CMASC) is our on-site program open to students aged 4.5 years of age and over.
Our Before School Care program is from 7:30 – 8:20am.
Children arrive at the After School Program when school finishes at 3pm. A Chrysalis staff member collects the children from their classroom and brings them in to the After School Program. The program operates until 6pm each weekday during term time, on school days, excluding public holidays.
Children are provided with a snack upon arrival to After School Care – this changes each day and is displayed on the weekly menu/activity board.
Children will participate in activities including:
- art and craft
- cooking
- sport
- drama and music
- film club
- tutoring and homework.
The centre follows a Montessori pedagogy. Children are encouraged to be courteous, respectful, cooperative and autonomous.
Families and other members of our community are welcome to contribute ideas for activities or share an interest/hobby.
