Chrysalis celebrated Harmony Day on Friday 17 March by organising activities that promoted cultural awareness, such as showing the different cultures represented at our school from the different continents, trying different foods, and exploring the cultural tradition of the Brazilian Capoeira. These activities can help students to develop a greater understanding and respect for other cultures, which in turn can help to foster a sense of belonging for all students, regardless of their cultural background.
At Chrysalis we encourage students to share their own cultural backgrounds with their classmates, which can help to promote pride in their heritage and a sense of belonging within the school community. By celebrating diversity and promoting inclusiveness, we can help to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students, which is essential for their academic success and emotional well-being.
