Chrysalis Montessori Before and After School Care, under the leadership of Director Marc Benazera and his team, is our on-site program open to children aged 4.5 years and over.
Our before school care is from 7:30 – 8:20am. Children arrive at CMASC when school finishes at 3pm. A carer collects the children from their classroom. The centre operates until 6pm each weekday during term time, excluding public holidays.
Children are provided with a snack upon arrival – this changes each day and is displayed on the weekly menu/activity board.
Children will participate in activities including:
- art and craft
- cooking
- sport
- drama and music
- film club
- tutoring and homework.
The centre follows a Montessori pedagogy. Children are encouraged to be courteous, respectful, cooperative and autonomous.
Families and other members of our community are welcome to contribute ideas for activities or share an interest/hobby.
